I moved to San Francisco a while ago and am handing over my flat in northern Prenzlauer Berg, right at the border to Pankow. 90 m² Altbau, 4th floor, a 10-minute walk to S+U Schönhauser Allee.
3,5 m hohe Decken, originaler Stuck, Dielen. Ein Zimmer geht zum Hof, eins zur Straße, dadurch ist es den ganzen Tag hell.
3.5 m ceilings, original stucco, wooden floorboards. One room faces the courtyard, one the street, so there's light all day.
Ich hab die Wohnung selbst großflächig renoviert, deshalb ist die Miete so günstig.

Keinen eigenen. Es gibt Bewohnerparken in der Straße und im Kiez, und ich hab eigentlich immer gut einen Parkplatz gefunden.
Not a dedicated one. There's resident parking on the street and around the Kiez, and I've always found a spot pretty easily.

Nach der Besichtigung schickst du mir deine Unterlagen, und ich schlage dich meinem Vermieter als Nachmieter:in vor. Er entscheidet, der Mietvertrag läuft dann direkt mit ihm. Die Ablöse klären wir zwei direkt.
After the viewing you send me your documents, and I propose you to my landlord as the next tenant. They decide, and you sign the lease directly with them. The furniture transfer we settle between the two of us.

Das Übliche für den Vermieter: Mieterselbstauskunft, Einkommensnachweise der letzten drei Monate, SCHUFA-Auskunft, Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung und Ausweis.
The usual set for the landlord: tenant self-disclosure form, proof of income for the last three months, SCHUFA credit report, a statement from your current landlord that you owe no rent, and ID.
